Gabbi’s Closes
Local burger spot Gabbi’s Burgers and Dogs has closed. I tried it once in 2008 and found the burger to be too dry, fries were boring. Sorry to see a local joint not make it, but the burger just wasn’t that good in my opinion.

Aw, man, no, this was a good place! Very tasty; had my vote for best burgers in north Austin. They were always packed over lunch, wonder what the deal is?

This place was awesome. Great bread, the most overlooked ingredient. Shows they had attention to detail and respect for the whole burger. I wish they could have just charged more and stayed open.
